SICCTM International Education and Training Platform for Traditional Chinese Medicine
The SICCTM International Education and Training Platform for Traditional Chinese Medicine was established by theShanghai International Cooperation Center of Traditional Medicine (SICCTM). It aims to provide TCM skill training overseas and promote traditional Chinese medicine culture globally.
The platform focuses on the specific learning needs and career development challenges of international students, offering a diverse training system that covers core TCM skills. Our courses deeply integrate theoretical instruction with practical application, including fundamental TCM theories (such as Yin-Yang and the Five Elements, meridian theory), classic diagnostic and treatmenttechniques (e.g., acupuncture, tuina), and modern clinical applications (e.g., TCM pattern differentiation and treatment for common diseases). This ensures that students gain a solid grasp of traditional TCM principles.
In terms of teaching methodology, the platform employs a blended online and offline educational system. All instructors are renowned experts from top TCM universities, hospitals, and research institutions both in China and abroad, possessing profound academic knowledge and extensive international teaching experience. Through online video courses, overseas students can learn anytime and anywhere. Offline training bases are set up in collaboration with overseas partners, offering clinical observation and hands-on practice opportunities. This approach achieves the platform’s goal of enabling students to "thoroughly understand theory, proficiently master skills, and effectively apply them in clinical practice."
